Toshiba launches two new Camileo HD camcorders in Europe, the Camileo H20 and Camileo P30, which are the replacement of the H10 and Pro HD Camileo respectively. Both camcorders offer 1080p Full HD video recroding with a 5 Megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom.

The Camileo H20 comes with a barrel-style design and has a 3-inch LCD screen while the P30 has an upright design with a 2.5-inch display. They support microSD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB.

Toshiba’s Camileo H20 and P30 will be available in February for GBP179.99 and GBP 149.99 respectively. Toshiba will also launch the Camileo S10.

Sony launches the new Webbie HD (model: MHS-CM1) digital camcorder, which is available in Silver, Orange and Purple. The Webbie HD features a 5 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, 5x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom.

Sony’s Webbie HD MHS-CM1 has a 2.5-inch LCD screen. It can record 1440×1080, 1280×720 and 640×480 movies at 30gps in MPEG4 AVC/H.274 format. The campact camcorder has built-in stereo microphone.

There is another model of the Webbie HD from Sony, the MHS-PM1 that comes in a different factor. It has 5 Megapixel sensor, a fixed focus lens, 4x digital zoom and a 1.8-inch LCD display.

These Webbie HD camcorders support Memory Stick PRO Duo media, in addition to 12MB internal memory. MHS-CM1 is priced at $199 while the MHS-PM1 costs $169.99.
