HBI USA introduces the SnorePro SP600, a device that can help you reduce snoring. The SnorePro can detect loud snores and it has a biofeedback function that will send a programmable electronic stimulations to the users’ skin. The function works like a wife who nudges her snoring husband and disturbs his sleep which causes him to change his sleep position. The biofeedback function is activated by loud snores through a changeable snore intensity threshold.

The SnorePro SP600 can also record loud snores and users can track their improvement using the LCD display.

Bang & Olufsen  presents the Master Link Gateway, a full A/V integration system. With the Master Link Gatewaym users can control and operate all their home automation equipment from the Beo5 remote control. Users can even combine actions involving both home automation and A/V equipment, for example you can switch on the light and the TV in the kitchen at the same with a single touch.

B&O Master Link Gateway allows up to 130 commands per room, including local command for a room or global commands for entire house. The system can be integrated with A/V product and home equipments easily. The Master Link Gateway simply translates Bang & Olufsen Master Link commands into LAN (ethernet) or RS 232/RS 485 commands that home automation systems can understand and vice versa.

Smartparts releases two new ultra slim touch-sensitive digital photo frames, the 2.4-inch SP24PC and the 3.5-inch SP35PC. Both of them have a 320×240 touchscreen display. These digital frames have SD/MMC card slot, and mini USB port.

They have internal storage that can hold up to 50 JPEG images. The Smartparts SP24PC and SP35PC are priced at $39.99 and $49.99 respectively.

Along with the SP24PC and SP35PC, Smartparts introduces SPX10 and SPX19, two new WiFi digital photo frames. The SPX10 has a 10-inch 24-bit 800×600 LCD display while the SPX19 comes with a 19-inch 1448×800 LCD screen.

Both SPX10 and SPX19 support WiFi and include Microsoft’s Windows Live FrameIt application that allows users to share and view photos online directly on the frames. In addition to 512MB internal memory, both frames support SD, MS, xD, MMC, Compact Flash memory cards.

The 10-inch SPX10WF is priced at $199.99 and 19-inch SPX19WF at $299.99. They will be available in March 2009.

Hitachi announced in Japan three new LCD projectors including CP-X10000J, CP-WX11000J and CP-SX12000J.

Hitachi CP-X10000J features XGA 1024×768 resolution, and 7500 lumens brightness. It costs 1,575,000 Yen. To be launched in 23 February.

Coming in 23 March, the CP-WX11000J offers 1366×800 WXGA resolution and 6500 lumens for 1,680,000 Yen.

Lastly, the Hitachi CP-SX12000J can deliver 1400×1050 SXGA+ images with 7000 Lumens brightness. It is priced at 1,785,000 Yen. It will be available in 23 March

Buffalo announced the RUF2-RVS series and RUF2-LVS series ultra high speed USB flash drives. The Buffalo RUF2-RVS series is based on SLC flash memory offering up to 38MB/s read and 30MB/s write speeds. It is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.

Buffalo introduces also the RUF2-LVS series USB thumb drive that offers up to 30MB/s transfer speed. This series is available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.

Both series offer Secure Lock Mobile encrytion function. They will be released in mid-Febaary.

Nova Media launches the iCON 431, a USB modem that supports HSUPA, 3G UMTS as well as EDGE and GPRS connections. The iCON 431 works with 900/1900/2100 MHz HSPA and 3G UMTS and 850/900/1800/1900 MHz quad-band EDGE and GPRS mobile networks.

Nova Media offers also the iCON 401 that offers same functions as iCON 431. With HSUPA, users can get up to 7.2 Mbit/s download speeds and up to 2 Mbit/s upload speeds. Both iCON 401 and iCON 431 have a microSD card slot supporting up to 8GB cards. The iCON 431 has a retractable USB connector.

Stanton launches the new SC System 1 (aka SCS-1), a set of digital controller for professional DJ. The SCS-1 includes the SCS.1d deck and the SCS.1m mixer offering the laptop DJ new performance abilities and functionality while preserving the familiar feel of traditional equipments. The SC System 1 features the HSS1394 protocol that allows MIDI messages to be translated and rapidly exchanged via FireWire.

The SCS.1m mixer has a 4-channel design, Mic and Phono / Line input, Balanced, studio-quality TRS output for mains; RCA booth output and 1/4-inch headphones output. It can be used with the SCS.1d or as a standalone mixer.

SCS.1d deck has an adjustable high-torque 10-inch motorized platter with vinyl surface and superior tracking and a 100mm motorized pitch fader.

T-Mobile and Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Memoir SGH-t929 8 Megapixel phone, which is previously rumored n as the t929 Leica. The Samsung Memoir t929 features a 8 Megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom, Xenon flash and five shooting modes.

T-Mobile’s Memoir features Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and has a full-touch virtual QWERTY keypad. The phone supports Bluetooth, Assisted GPS navigation, music and movie playback. The Memoir T929 supports 3G and has a full HTML browser. Samsung has added a new photo widget that enables users to uplaod images to flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket and Snapfish services.
